INVITATION TO SUBMIT AN EXPRESSION OF INTEREST AND REQUEST
FOR PREQUALIFICATION
N°SP 40 304
This international invitation to tender of Office
National de l'Electricité (ONE) is intended
to select companies and consortia in order to participate
into an international competitive bidding process
which will be launched in the first semester of 2011,
for a 150 MW wind farm project, on a site located
12 kilometers North West of Taza, "The Project".
The
Project will be structured under a Build Own Operate
Transfer scheme with a twenty (20) years off-take agreement
with the ONE.
This
"Project" is the first step of Moroccan's
Integrated Wind farm Program, "The Program",
which involves the development, the construction and
the operation of five wind farms to produce electricity
with a total capacity of 1000 MW, in the aim to reach
a national total capacity installed of 2000 MW by 2020.
Wind
farms planned under the "Program" will be
structured through public-private partnerships where
ONE, Société d'Investissement Energétique
(SIE) and Hassan II Funds will be partner with one or
several strategic partners renowned in the electric
production field and in the industry of wind energy,
in order to set up, case by case for each project, a
"Project Company" structured according to
the Moroccan law and take shares in the capital of this
company.
Commercial
operation of the project of Taza wind farm is scheduled
for 2014.
Office
National de l'Electricité (ONE) hereby invites
companies and consortia to submit their expression of
interest and request for prequalification in order to
be selected to participate to the international competitive
bidding process for the Project of Taza wind farm.
The
interested firms, constituted in individual companies
or consortia, should submit their application as per
by Friday 10th, December 2010 at 09 H00 (Moroccan
Time).
This
submission should be done in accordance with the terms
and conditions of the Invitation for Submission of Expression
of Interest and Request for Prequalification n°
SP 40 304, from Tuesday 26th, October 2010, which can
be downloaded through ONE web site : www.one.ma

The opening of submissions will take place in a public
session at ONE headquarters located at 65, Othman Ben
Affan street - Casablanca, on Friday 10th, December
2010 at 09H00 A.M. (Moroccan time).
